Transfer Photos and Videos from Facebook to Google Photos
You have not to install any third-party app to do this. Facebook has newly introduced media transfer feature tool both for the mobile version and web version. So, you will need to install the latest version of Facebook to go through the steps.
Step 1: Open Facebook app on your mobile and log in with your account. After that, at the top right corner in the Facebook, you can see a “triple line” mark. Click that on and you will get a menu option slide.
Step 2: Among them, choose “Settings & Privacy” in the menu. There you will find the “Settings” option. Click that.
Step 3: Next, go to Your Facebook Information part. Here you can see an option “Transfer a copy of your photos or videos” in the last.
Step 4: As you click on “Transfer a copy of your photos and videos” option, you will be asked to enter your Facebook password to continue further.
Step 5: Up next, as you enter the password and click to continue, a new page will come in front of you asking you for choosing a destination where you want to transfer photos and videos from Facebook.
Step 6: Next, click on the “Choose Destination” option and select the option of “Google Photos” in the drop-down menu. As you select the “Google Photos” option, another option comes asking for choosing the media to type either “photos” or “videos” to be transferred from Facebook.
Step 7: Now, you have to choose either “photos” or “videos” that you want to transfer from Facebook and click on Next to sign in to Google Photos.
Step 8: After that, click on allow in the pop-up to grant Facebook permission to add media to Google Photos. Once the transfer has been finished, you will get an email from Facebook that notifies the process is complete.
